... This is hard to admit, but my fiancee died. Years ago, yes, but when she died.... devistation struck me DEEP. Deeper than one could ever hope to imagine. I started making love to woman after women. I love all women... I just cannot commit. When I think about it... it all just brings me back to Sophia.... since I'm tearing up fast, I can't write much more.. has this ever happened to you?

I have grieved for lost love. It sounds like you haven't completely surrendered to the grief process. There is a point at which you're able to let go, which does not mean you ever forget the one you loved. Your fiancee wants your happiness, to find someone else who you could love deeply also. The thing about love is that we never love in the same way. You will never love anyone in the same way you loved this woman, but you will love them in a different way, which will both honor the love you had for your fiancee, and the new love for this person you have found.

No. But it sounds like you need time to grieve and you haven't allowed yourself to do that. It's okay to cry about it. In fact, grieving is very healthy. I've had close friends pass away and it took me a long time to get over it. Everyone is different. My heart goes out to you. It sounds like you were really in love.
