theres so much more.always had lack of power....good;compression,fuel press,ex backpress,base time.tune up parts incl air & fuel,valve adj,yes correctly,camhaft pass visual insp......used to communicate w/modis,set idle speed,no codes...this was 1 yr ago....so now,no ses light,but does not like to start w/cold,idle erratic most of time,too hi,too low,stall will not comm w/modis.....c'mon man....dont hold back....give it too me staight....save my soon to be classic.....classic what!

If it runs, but will not communicate with the MODIS- the most likely cause is a poor connection at the ALDL. have you tried to "flash" code it? Can you get codes this way without the scanner? If you can jump "A" & "B" and get the flashes, the data line at the connector may be damaged. Without actually putting my hands on it, I am afraid that's all I can offer.
