I tell them straight out "that's bullshit" right when they lie to me, that way we can just go ahead and get it settled and I don't have to dwell on it...and I hate lies that's why I do that

Lies are words. Words mean nothing unless coupled with proof or action. I'm sure we are all lied to many times throughout the day. It is a part of our primate social behavior. The good, decent person will avoid lying, as it is a practice of spreading false-hoods, but diplomacy is important and some things need to remain unsaid. Sometimes something else is said in it's place.

When it's barefaced lies that the perpetrator is using.To deceive or grandstand.Then it's sicking.However if someone compliments you on your clothes or style.They may only be doing so,to make you feel good about yourself.That's harmless.Liars are not to be trusted.Especially the deceivers

it really must depend upon the circumstances and the lie it self
the world is actually predominated by lies most of the time just look at the religious claims people make .

I generally tell them that i caught them in a lie, and i'll give them a chance to tell the truth or explain themself. If they continue on doing so, I simply tell them this.
"You had the chance, I simply gave it to you through the goodness of my heart, and if you continue this, our trust will be something in the past. If you really want to ruin that, it's up to you. I'll be here, for whenever your ready to tell me the truth. For now, I'll take my leave."
You can't let them have the upperhand, or you'll never hear a right answer. Gently and without putting them in a defensive state, sometimes this is simply what you must do.

The thig is how can you really tell if some is lying in front of your face unless you've heard way to many times.

i really hate it but its not much you can do about it. what i do as soon as i know that someone is lying to me i don't even waste my time listening to what they are saying
