I need help, where do I light the pilot for my oven. I have tried looking for the burner but I do not see any thing. Please help. I had an appoinment for the gas and electric company to come out and turn it on and they never showed.

If this is a "manual turn on" you light it from under just like any over this way. If it's an automatic it should click then turn on. Unless I'm not understanding something here, your not to clear, why are you calling the utilities out to turn on the oven?

You simply turn on the switch to the setting you want, say 350 it should wait for, say one full minute, then start. If it doesn't then one of the two (usually) temperature control valves, one is a safety valve may be broken. They're both pretty pricey. One can be about $90.00 you'll need a utility man to change it.

On some ovens the burner is below the bottom oven liner / shelf there is usually a hole about 30mm dia were a taper can be put. So many different types of ovens really need more information Make / model.
