How do I remove an Active Window from my desktop?

I selected for Google to be put on my desktop under shortcuts. And now, Google appears across my whole screen, and I can't get it off. Please Help.

Right-click your desktop, go to Properties, click the Desktop tab, click the Customize Desktop button at the bottom of the window, click the Web tab. The Google thing should be listed in the window; select it and click Delete. That should take care of your problem.

Try to remove it in "Add and Remove Programs" in the control panel.

press "Alt+Ctrl+Del" then click on windows name and click "end task" botton
