I'm thinking you meant to type "SPF15"?
SPF means Sun Protection Factor and the number is an indicator of how much protection from sunburn you can expect from a certain ingredient in the cream. Higher number means more protection.

It is the sun protection factor they put into cosmetics. 15SPF is not enough if you are spending lots of time in the sun, you would need at least a 30 SPF on your face. SPF 15 is fine for Winter sun and dark skins
