No it's an indication that he is a man who has a woman as a best friend...I know gay men with straight men as their best friends.

If he had real close buddies that were men, that might indicate gayness. There's a good chance that he's attracted to that woman friend. Or has at least thought of her as he touched himself. At least he's not a woman hating misogynist closet-case.
