Lemon may contain ascorbic ACID but....as a food, it is actually an ALKALINE!!!

It doesn t. Have you noticed that the people who insist that lemon juice cannot show you the chemistry that would demonstrate how when metabolized lemon juice becomes alkaline? That is because it doesn t. It is pseudoscience. Don t get me wrong. Drinking lemon water is fantastic for hydration and getting some vitamin C. But other than that it is nonsense. If there is someone out there that disagrees with me then by all means prove it with the chemistry. I would love to see that. And if you can prove me wrong with the chemistry I would happily jump on that bandwagon.
