You actually are seeing your family for the holidays . . . you're seeing your husband and your daughter. But, I understand what you were saying...you meant your extended family (siblings, parents, cousins etc.). You asked what to do because not with other relatives. Awaken the joy of being in the company of the three of you (yourself, your husband, your daughter). Enjoy a nice breakfast, share gifts, share holiday memories of years gone by, bundle up and take a beautiful Christmas walk and watch your daughters face as she takes in the sights, snuggle, talk, laugh, play a board game, locate local holiday gathering and go watch or participate in that. Remember also, it's not the number of those gathered to enjoy an event, it's the comfort, fun, and peacefulness of the company that matters. Do you realize how many 'large' family gatherings take place and the social environment is terribly because of ill feelings of some. Other times there are simply two lovers who have a joyful day. You and your husband are two lovers enhanced with the joy of your daughter. It's not the number gathering, it's the embracing of hearts in fun, conversation, smiles etc.

Get everyone you would have celebrated with take a picture of themselves. Make a collage, and have it with you when you open gifts and have dinner.
Nothing better than the holiday phone call. Set up a time you can call, so they will not be in the middle of dinner, or pick a time they will all be together, and you can have a few words with everyone.Web cam is great, if you can do that.
If your family had a tradition, do that, the best you can, just the three of you. Even if it is something as simple as a favorite can't have Christmas without it side dish for dinner.
Buy some ornaments, and write each family members name on an ornament, and hang them on the tree. Or buy a little inexpensive frame, and put the pictures in them , and hang them.
Light a candle at dinner, in honour of the family.
Make a small donation to the local food bank, or where you choose, in the family[s] name.
Do Christmas just as if you were at home, or do something totally wild and wackey and different.
Start your own tradition.
Merry Christmas.

I would suggest you; just pick a photo of your family and you both together. Let IamCartoon.com artists draw a cartoon of that photo. Then get it printed on to a large poster through cafepress.com. All these will cost you around 50-60$.
Check it out a sample of a family cartoon;
