DVD burners are picky animals. They will only burn to the blank media (DVDs and Cds) that the DVD drive manufacturer has specified in their owners manual. Try reloading the drivers also. In the device manager go to the drive in question, right click on it and un-install it, then reboot the computer. That will reload the drivers.

Go into Device Mangler and remove the drive listing there and reboot the system. then go into the BIOS setup and verify that the drive is listed in the BIOS. SAVE the configuration, then reboot. When Windows boots, it may have to find a driver. Install the driver for the DVD if you have one, otherwise let Windows search the net for a better one. Reboot again and you should be back in business.
If not, the drive is defective.

Nope regrettably :(... i've got tried many circumstances too ha ha. you may even if burn different formats of video. attempt a software like nero and it provides you with the choice to burn countless categories of video clips. those video clips will play in maximum dvd gamers they only wont be in a dvd format. surprisingly cool once you employ abode windows action picture maker and make your very own video clips :)

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
