My husband was single for 20 yrs. and now we have been married for 3 yrs. in the between time he used to masterbate with porn everyday and sometimes more then once a day. Now that we have a son I haven't been as interested in sex and he seems to be watching porn every chance that he gets. I have expressed my dislike for this but he doesn't seem to care. Can anyone help me here ...... girlz

First, I assume you knew this going in to the marriage? Habits like that don't change. In effect, when you married him, you were saying, I accept you as you are. That is part of the marriage contract.

Second, what does not as interested mean to you? once a week, or once a month? If you are not having sex at least once or twice a week, then I recommend some counseling for both of you, preferably together. If he, like some, want it every day or more, then work out a suitable compromise. Were your sex drives previously compatible, or has this always been a bit of a problem?

Compromise means you both work to come to an equitable solution. Get help doing so if you need to.

Let me get this straight. You got what you wanted from your husband (your son), now you're through having sex with him, so he should just turn of his sex drive? You're lucky he's not looking outside the marriage for it. Sex is not just a physical act. It's a way of building intimacy between the couple. Don't you want that? Yes, I'm sure you're tired after taking care of your son all day, but how much would it put you out to be loving toward your husband for a half hour?

I have an answer that you probably won't like. If you knew he liked/used porn before why are you shocked that he still does? And if he isn't having an affair, nor trying to force you to have sex against your will, I don't see a problem. He has sexual needs and wants that he is fulfilling on his own without really imposing it on you. Just make sure that it is done in private, especially as your son gets older.

From one woman to another, ignore it and be grateful he stays at home.

If youre not interested in sex then dont blame him for turning to porn. You want everything your way but that is not how it works. If you want him to stop then you give him what he wants to replace the porn. You are being unbeleivably unreasonable. I know thats not what you want to hear but you know its true.
