self esteem comes from being comfortable with self. We tend to do what we know until we learn different. Life's lessons may conflict with feelings, coming to know and accept we believe differently than our teachers is rewarded with self esteem.

that's a hard question, but i would say its really up to the person when they are comfortable with doing something then they will be more confident. most of the time someone says something about you that you remember for years and you believe its true when its not, that person has to realize how valuable they are not just to others but to them self. it is going to be tough but it will take a while for them to be more confident in them self but eventually it will happen.

Being a friend, honesty giving courage, and being there for them. letting them know the bright parts about them, that are the most good and important as to why people like that person. That always helps with people of any ages.
Everyone is unique, and there is not another person exactly like you.
