i'm going to my first christmas party. it's pretty informal but i so much want to look pretty. do you think i should wear a long skirt, short skirt, or a really nice pair of slacks and some heels. i want to shop for the prettiest outfit. what should i wear. thanks so much :)

you should wear jeans, its family and you dont want to be like trying to "flirt" with your family members by wearing a short skirt, and long skirts are so boring, so just wear some nice dark washed jeans and then for the top, pick out a really cute cami or a long sleeve shirt, you might want a cute sweater, but it doesnt have to be like a grandma sweater with like snowmen and santa claus on it, something pretty, formal and it doesnt have to be red and green.

oh and also you should wear some heels! i would never pass up a chance to style some cute heels! not too high, but not like flats, well actually flats would be cute!....whichever youre more comfortable in.

Wear what you like-but I personally like the sound of the nice slacks with pretty heels. Remember, dress to impress. Not like some girls on the streets.

wear a short black skirt with a red sweater and black accesories, like a scarf and some nice black earrings. Top it off with a pair of black flats w/ sequins or high black boots. Have some fun with this.

Look for something in velvet. Black, stretchy velvet. Nothing too long or you could go with the pants and top in velvet. Many stores carry these now. Very plush, soft, cozy and you'll be comfortable all night. Perfect for the holiday season... Enjoy your party!
