A home pregnancy test. She can test now or wait and see if she doesn't get her period. If she doesn't get her period, it's likely that she is pregnant. Testing a home is a good idea or getting a free test done at Planned Parenthood. If she tests at PP, there will be professionals there to talk to her about her options if she is pregnant (keeping it, adoption or abortion) or if she tests negative, they will talk to her about safe sex (condoms and contraceptives).

If I were you, I'd encourage her to get on 'the pill' as well as use condoms EVERY TIME! You have to worry not only about pregnancy, but sexually transmitted infections which can be minor and easily treated or something more serious like HIV. Even virgins can have STI's, so I'd definitely get to Planned Parenthood or a local sexual health clinic for STI testing.

Another answerer suggested "the morning after pill" or Plan B, but since you had unprotected sex 2 weeks ago, it is too late for that. Plan B is not an abortion pill and will not harm a pregnancy already in progress. Plan B simply stops a woman from ovulating and may stop implantation if there is a fertilised egg. Sperm can live in a womans body for up to 5 days and this is why Plan B works. Typically pregnancy does not occur instantly after sex. If you had unprotected sex with your girlfriend yesturday and she ovulated today, she could become pregnant today without having sex today.

Good Luck!

Best time to get pregnant is in the middle of her cycle (i.e. 14 days before her next period) So if she has a cycle of 30 days the 16th is the most fertile. Anyway you will find out soon enough, after a couple of days after her period is due and has nto come you can get a home test to find out.

if you live in Ontario you can ask the pharmacist to give you a morning after pill to stop pregnancy but I am pretty sure that you have to use it within 72 hours
