hmm... with me and my bf it's the opposite. he says "i love you" pretty often while i rarely say it.
i think it's 1. the way we were brought up, 2. i'm quite shy and scared, 3. i only say it when i really feel it, because i don't want to mistake like, lust, and love, and 4. i had low self-confidence. but i'm learning and it took my bf over a year before i said my first "i love you." (and it was a whisper too...)
pretty pathetic, don't you agree???
