the wimped out gunfights that have no blood adn dont get you to feelanyhting, or violence like in robcop, scarface, or running scared, that was fiendishly graphic, and turned your gut the first time you saw it?

I'm a gore queen! I love gory movies (The Saw trilogy and Hostel are by far my favorite movies) To me, it's hard to get into something if it's obviously fake. But movies with gore or intense violence help me really get into the movie and you fear the adrenaline or fear of the characters.

Hmm, I wonder which you prefer! Yup, I completely agree with you gun fights suck! Though I don't really like stuff like Robocop either, I mostly like East Asian action films myself but some American/ French etc ones are pretty "gory" too! I must say though I think they are trying a bit harder with gun play since the "gun kata" (SP?) in Equilibrium, for instace I watched Art Of War last night, quite enjoyed it.

The problem with gory fights if that if they get too over the top, they lost their impact.

I agree wit blktiger. I don't like gore-filled flicks. How can anyone call that their fave type of movie ??? It's almost like saying that you like seeing peeps getting killed IRL ... (N)
