Sehwag is injuried, Pathan's form is not good and Sreesanth may be suffering some problem in bowling. Kaif and Raina can play a good long innings and they can build up a good partnership which will help India in scoring well. It's difficult to say whether India will win or not. India's performance is going down. Last tournament was not up to the mark.

We Indians are losing a lot of productive time and are wasting a lot of money and resources on cricket and the thirdrate players that are representing our country and also ruining its name. Whether it is Kaif or Raina or Sehwag or Pathan or Tendulkar or Dravid, we will continue this disastourous performance as they do not have talent or skill. It is no use blaming the coach or hiding behind the excuses of "loss of form" and "recovering from injury". What a shame 91 all out. The Hyderabad school boys would have scored more runs!

Shewag was not in the Team because of injury to his finger. When India decided to go with 6 specialised batsmen, there
was place only for 4 bowlers. The team management selected the 4 bowlers whom they considered the best. Hence Pathan and Sreesant could not get a chance. Still I feel that Pathan should have been played in place of Zaheer as India defenitely want to improve his capabilities before the World Cup, which will be possible only by giving him maximum exposure and getting sufficient time to correct his shortfalls.

I don't think so. India hasn't done well in the 1st ODI against SA. AND They lost the match by a large amount of run. If the coach brings back SEHWAG, PATHAN, and SREESANTH. India has more chances than now.

Kaif could have been dropped long in the past and likely it's going to be curtains for Kaif and Raina. i do no longer agree Sehwag is talked interior the comparable vein. he's a class act and a shown experience winner. I had continually felt Karthik is a extra suitable batsman than Dhoni. i'm beneficial Dhoni is going to conflict against SA seamers. Pathan lesser pronounced extra suitable. he's only a swing bowler and not that stable or astounding as say Bracken or Pedro Collins. we don't choose for him as a batsman. Many extra gamers are in rivalry Rohit Sharma and S Badrinath have had very stable seasons so far and with the "A" team. If no longer for wholesale ameliorations, time is definitely working out for Kaif and to a pair quantity Raina. Pathan could be very easily replaced by utilising Balaji or V YoMahesh, who has inspired each physique interior the recent duleep tie. yet lower back Vengserkar has proved to be a great joker as he chosen Jaffer for ODIs. yet enable us to wish experience prevails with the presence of the "astute" Raju.

Drastic changes are requrired. The squad is lacking experience in big games.
Yuvraj is a good performer of recent past but he is out of team due to injuries.
Hoping on Sehwag is just a gamble due to lack of consistency in performance. But team needs him, becoz he
Raina should be dropped. He hasn't good experience in domestic cricket as well as he has not performed well against any big teams niether at home nor away. I don't know on what bases he is being selected till now. Obviously there is no reason for picking him in the team. Atleast against strong opponents. He should be selected while playing against Bangladesh or Zimbabwe.
Kaif is required due to his fielding and he has the ability to hold one end. but recent form is not good. But then also should be given chances.
Jaffer, definitely doesn't deserve place in the ODI squad.
And Dinesh Mongia is also not able to perform in his return.
Middle order has a very important role in game. And as per the current indian team only Yuvi is a good middle order batsman. players like Raina and Mongia are just joke to this place.
So Jaffer, Raina, Dinesh Mongia and Munaf should be dropped.
Srisant should be taken instead of Munaf.
Sehwag definitely should replace Jaffer.
Pathan to replace Dinesh Mongia.
And In absence of Yuvraj, Ganguly should be picked for middle order as he is a good player in middle and last overs. Opening should be given to Sachin and Sehwag. If Sehwag fails to perform then he should be sent in the middle order and ganguly should be promoted to open the inning.
This is the best combination I see for india in matches to come!!

The first ODI was a wash out. Rain didn't bless India in the second and by now you know the result. So the writing on the wall is very clear. If Team India shares 1% of your optimism, maybe they can win one. Common sense says the answer is 'no'.

bcoz there r not much options in batting.they have not replaced sehwag & all.sehwag is out bcoz of injury & pathan & sreesanth is a bowler & in bowling there r lot of options so coach & captain r searching for best options.i think that result of series will be 2-2.
