Some people consider you to not be a virgin if you've had oral sex, or been fingered by somebody. But, as long as her vagina has not been penetrated by a penis, then she is still technically a virgin.

You first need to pick your definition.....
1. person who has not had sex... I think you would know if this was you or not.
2. female who has an intact hymen... Problem is your hymen can be torn several different ways. Short of a self exam or a medical exam you cant know.

if you have not been penetrated by a penis. loosing your virginity is the penis entering the vagina. and NO tampons do not make you loose your virginity. only a penis...if that hasnt hapened to her then she is still a virgin.
