...i'm sure this is a scam, so how would i report something like this without knowing for sure if it is?

It's spam. There is no way that could happen. If by some chance you get an email saying you won money, don't even bother. There is no one who would pay you money for no reason. You want to gamble with that? Go buy a lottery ticket.

Don't get cheated, probably some guy intercept u're e-mail and changed it.
Sometimes i got one too, like my friend, he said: ' do this and we can both get a free ipod nano.....'
