Me and my mother tryed to put internet on a none-internet computer with a modem, we bought another modem and that one didn't work either!. Should i try and call a "computer doctor"?

did you plug the phone line into the correct spot on the card - the one labeled "Line IN" - usually there are two - the other LINE OUT is for a phone going thru to answer at the computer desk.

Did you install the software and run a test check?

Do you still have technical assistance available from where you bought the computer. (I thought I had one year - and it turned out to be three! Praise God)

It isnt the modem thats the problem. Its that you dont have the program to access the internet. If you have windows just go to control panel, network connections and create a new connection. It works for me. And dont froget to install the driver for the modem too.

first you should make sure you installed the drivers that came with it and second make sure your internet is not broken
