I know there have been problems. Well.... not just few, but even if you try to feel different, it hurts.

The main reason could be, that, I'm very very lonely, here. I don't have anyone in my life, especially in this country?? Despite that, I still can be happy......can't I? :(

Sometimes I also feel awkward, where, I ask myself, "Why am I feeling depressed?"

Its not like I can't be happy and I am trying my best, but when I see others, so jolly, very excited about things and so on, it hurts me. It hurts me because, the same question hits my head that why I can't be like that person :(.

Basically, I would like to say that, I don't know why am I unhappy, in life?

I also should be happy, as I am getting married, next year or so. It's not for sure, but, my parents are arranging it. I think of the problems with her, as well - Not the relationship problem? I know we'll be fine. I tell my mom all the time, that maybe, after marriage, this depression will somehow reduce or stop?

Maybe you're not happy with who you are.Don't be like that.I'm into depression too,i hide myself in the bedroom for good 2 days without bathing and just lay down on the bed.When i got a message that my friend is hospitalize,i go straight to visit her.I realize now that life is precious and we have to be thankful with what we have,weather enough or not.Be happy and you'll feel better.

well mostly if u marry someone and u dont know that person well u wont know if u will be happy or not

maybe ur just depressed for another reason
getting married wont make u happy if u dont love that person or at least wanna get married 2 that person


being w/ some1 doesnt make ppl happy {sometimes}
problems will always come........but there is other ways to be happy
you just have to find out whats making u depressed
now i know this will sound stupid but maybe u sould ask ur doctor
b/c in some cases ppl r depressed 4 no reason the feeling just comes out of no were

Here are my amateur analysis of

Here's some possible reasons for your depression:
- very small circle of friends, lack of social interaction. I've never seen someone truly happy without at least 2 or 3 close friends. Humans are a social animal.
- lack of life's goal or objective
- feeling of hopelessness to problems you are facing now

Here's some solutions worth trying:
- try making new friends. Try online chatting/friendship sites. Join an interest group related to your hobby.
- set a goal and work towards it. make sure its something achievable. Its meant to motivate you. So, don't go put "Grow wings and fly" as your goal.
- Actively find solution to your problems. If its financial, find a job. If its family, talk to them or to someone else. If its your your bad breath, try eating gum. I think you get what i mean.

You feel depressed because I think there are pent-up feelings deep within you that you are trying to suppress. Be honest and try to open up..loosen a little..and have a deep soul searching of what you really want. Act now while there's enough time. I believe you answered your own question... in part.

You said you are very very lonely. You don't have anyone in your life.

These things that you identified (for yourself) are reasons why you feel depressed. There are other reasons too.

By focusing on the question you asked, you are holding yourself in a depressed state of mind.

I recommend you stop asking "why" and start asking "what."

What can you do that makes you feel better?
What can you do that could bring moments of pleasure to you?
What can you do that would involve you interacting with other people?
What can you do that could help you to develop personality traits you would like to have?

In addition to that, start drinking wheatgrass juice. It's loaded with nutrients, and helps to reduce feeling of depression.

tis a simple dilemma.
stop looking outside of yourself for happiness.
look within, what others think about you, should have no Bering on what you think about you.
it takes all kinds to make this world as it is. know yourself. By Loving yourself, you would not accept others arranging your life, or accept people trying to.

Shouldn't YOU be arranging the marriage and not your parents? Planning for is one thing, but ARRANGING - as is betrothed? No wonder you're depressed sweetie, your parents are living YOUR life FOR you.
