The keys are all strategically placed based on how often we use them. This is why there is a specific and proper way to type, because it is the most efficient based on thd keyboard layout.

ACtually, it goes back to the old mechanical typewriters. When two or more keys were pressed at the same time, the strikers would jam against each other and get stuck. The makers of the typewriters spread the most used keys apart so there was a lesser chance that two or more keys would be pressed at the same time. The resulting keyboard is called the QWERTY keyboard. Since the old typewriters are no longer in use, and computers do not have strikers to get jammed, they have developed a keyboard called the DVORK keyboard which has the most commonly used letters all on the same row. You can buy them online, but they take some practice to use.

Computer keyboards were copied from typewriter keyboards.
Over 100 years ago (Yeah, ANCIENT history) the first typewriters kept jamming...so the present setup (called "QWERTY" - look at the top row of letters) was made to (I almost can't believe this) SLOW typists down.
Later, a different key setup (Dvorak) was designed that had the most common letters on the middle row - meaning that roughly 100 common words could be typed without leaving that row. But by that time, too many people were "hooked" on the old QWERTY units, so...

They are arranged in the order of the letters of the alphabets that are used frequently in the middle....the inventor of typewriter on which the modern keyboard is based on....He also positioned them in such a way because some of the keys were getting stuck as well when he happened to invent the manual typewriter which we see to be of use these days too..

Because a chap named Christopher Scholes invented a typewriter. It wasn't very good, and Scholes deliberately arranged the letters on the keys so that one could not pound them faster than the machine could print. But the machine was good enough that a lot of them were sold, and the QWERTY keyboard used on that machine has been with us ever since. Much more recently, a chap named Dvorak studied the key layout and came up with an arrangement that is much better, but it has never caught on.

a long time ago keyboard are arrange in alphabetical order but because back then technology wasn't great they word per minute is on average 100+ and the cause jamming of the machine which cannot handle this which then someone came up with the idea of qwerty to slow down their typing speed and since then it has became a standard

It started in the day of the typewriter. Typwriters would jam if tn alphabetical order. They found the combination that caused the least jams. When the computer came out they just kept this combo.

The arrangement of characters on a QWERTY keyboard was designed in 1868 by Christopher Sholes, the inventor of the typewriter. According to popular myth, Sholes arranged the keys in their odd fashion to prevent jamming on mechanical typewriters by separating commonly used letter combinations. However, there is no evidence to support this assertion, except that the arrangement does, in fact, inhibit fast typing.

This comes from the previous form-writers. Many standard letters have been good next to a minimum of one yet another, and that brought about the typebars to conflict and jam the gadget. So a guy named Christopher Sholes had got here upon via trial and mistake that the QWERTY format prevented this the main from occurring. We purely use it in recent times because of the fact it has grow to be a well-recognized, and attempting to regulate from one keyboard format to a diverse isn't surely accomplished.

There is no English word or word of any language using roman script that is spelt in alphabetical order. Even the word alphabetical is not spelt in alphabetical order.
