I was a Redskinette, and we were allowed to date anyone we wanted. I suppose other teams can have different rules.

If you want to get technical about it, there is nothing prohibiting the players from dating the cheerleaders, but the cheerleaders get fired if they date a player. And the player mentioned who proposed to a cheerleader after a game was Ian Johnson of Boise State. Naturally, there is nothing to prohibit college cheerleaders from dating college football players.

Because you don't want members of the team fighting over cheerleaders. That means a bad work environment.

its almost like dating your co-worker but since they are football and cheerleaders it just seems worse??... im not sure but if they got caught nothing major would happen maybe just a fine of a few thousand dollars.

because of code of conduct and for most teams it is a code violation.It will most likely result in a fine or if the team decides a suspension.
