Have you tried disk management in windows? no reason it should not do the job, as it is essentially no different than an IDE drive. Also, I have found the manufacturer of pen drives is a great source of information. Hewlett Packard makes a great format tool for pen drives, available from their site. I have one with 2 partitions, and it came that way from computer geeks.

Your pendrive in infected with virus. Take it on a computer where 1. The operating system is Window vista 2. There is a Norton antivirus is installed. Vista will respond to rectify the errors on the drive. After this scan the drive with Norton antivirus. It will be rectified and you wil be able to access the pen. Open the pendrive drive through window explorer by single clicking on the drive instead of double clicking from anywhere else.

Besides Windows Partition Wizard you can also try to use Acronis Disk Director Suite. It's very reliable software and I think that it would execute your task.

hi,

pendrive = chip not equal to harddisk. Hard disk contains series of disks inside and sectors.

Pen drive is just a chip to store.
