You may have an anxiety disorder which causes you to constantly worry. This constant worrying can cause all sorts of discomfort which can also keep you up at night. This is not a diagnosis but just a possibility. Please see a doctor about this as there are treatment options for you from medication to relaxation techniques. Having a problem like this is nothing to be ashamed about and I can guarantee that your doctor has had plenty of cases like yours. If you can see a Psychiatrist that would be best if you are worried about a mental condition but I would start will your Family doctor to get you started. ( I have the same condition so relax even doctors have it too. )

I know exactly how you feel hun. I can't ever sleep either, I am always worrying or thinking about something or the other. My mind wont shut off, I just lay there in bed thinking or worrying about anything and everything. Even worrying about things i have no control over. I lay down in bed at 10 and wont get to bed until after2 or 3 and then have to be back up at 5. And I do this over and over and over and by noon I am so tired I practically fall asleep where every I am. I wish I could find a way to shut off my mind. I need to find the switch. So I know how you feel and I don't know what to tell you. Try going to the Dr and see about getting on some sleeping pills. They should help alot.. Good luck

I cannot properly diagnose your condition, only a licensed physician or counselot may do so. I can say that it appears you are suffering from a common condition known as anxiety. There are many treatments available that your physician can prescribe to help you through this to include seeking help from a trusted and licensed counselor. Seeking help does NOT mean you are weak in ANY way. You may also want to try some relaxation techniques prior going to bed, avoid caffeine and also eating 4 hours prior to bed. Taking a warm bath prior to bed will also help calm your body. Try and go to bed at the same time EVERY night and also avoid ANY alcoholic breverages. Try drinking hot/warm herbal tea a couple hours prior to bedrest.

I hope that this helps you!

Something is wrong if it infringes on a person's natural rights. All people are entitled to things such as life, liberty, and prosperity. So if you kill a person, you take away their life. If you put them through dominance and abuse without their consent, you take away their liberty. If you steal their property or money, you are affecting their prosperity. Something is right if it preserves those natural rights and promotes them for others. If you save someone, work to give people suffrage, or give to charity, you are doing the right thing. However, the line between right and wrong often becomes blurred. For instance, suppose you kill a murderer who broke into your home to save your own family. In this example, we can dissect your actions and judge them individually to be either right or wrong. Killing the man was wrong, but protecting your family and property was right. In this case, the number of right actions and the amount of good that was done is greater than the evil, so you would be right in this situation.

Sounds like you get a case of the "What Ifs" at bedtime. I get them nightly also,my mind just won't shut down from everyday stress and worries. I do my best to clear my head before bed.Maybe some hot herbal tea or a nice warm bath with the scent of lavender(re:candle or bubble bath) will help you relax. If it stays persistent you should talk to your doctor about it. There are medications and other remedies that your physician can give you to help. Good Luck!!!

Okay, I think I already answered this question if you asked the same one previously. But! I was like this a few days before school started; I was worried and stressed. I didn't watch TV or eat before bed. Turn off all the lights, and just think of a blank chalkboard, and you will go to sleep. I was out within 3 minutes. Everytime your mind starts to wander, just keep saying, 'blank board'.

I don't think there's anything very wrong here. But it will help you a lot to worry less .From experience I can tell you that most of the things people worry about wind up being something that never happens or a situation they imagine happening in the future that usually turns out much better than anticipated. It's kind of a mental trick we play on ourselves in that we try and predict the future and that very tough to do .How many people do you know that can predict what's going to happen before it happens?Better to live in the present moment. If this is too tough for you to handle on your own I suggest that you seek help. When worrysome thoughts appear think of something good . You can also think :WHATEVER!!! Who cares!!!Things will turn out for the best !!! ---Good luck!!!!Someone up there is looking out for YOU!!!

It sounds like you have a lot of anxiety. You cannot relax and sleep because you are worried about to many things you have no control over. There are perscriptions that you can get that will alter your mind, so that you don't worry so much. But I would reccomend that you do it yourself. The best drug-free way I know of to get rid of anxiety is to accept Jesus Christ into your life. Once he is in charge of life, you will know that all things are possible through him, and that he will always be there for you.

well I don't know if you want to hear it or not but...there is help. God wants to help you. He says" Cast all your cares on me, for I care for you" Prayer really does work. If you want me to pray for you, send me an email...and I will answer with a prayer.
You may also want to start journalling or blogging. Get your thoughts written down. It does help some people.
I have a friend that has mental problems, I think it is called paranoia. She worries alot...about stuff that never happens.
