It depends on who you are. If you are an adult then don't bother trying to get her specific music because whatever you get will be wrong, unless you know of specific bands that she's into. If you do and she is close and you want to spend some time on the gift, then go on ebay and find an autographed poster or t-shirt or someting, or get concert tickets. If not, then something like an iPod would be great, unless she already has one. If not, you can get gift cards for the iTunes store, or something similar if that's not the program she uses.

Do what you know is right you can get an ipod but that isnt really from the heart spend the time find the cds she doesnt have of her favorite bands and get a bunch of them OR EVEN BETTER find a group that is coming in where you live and get tickets to a concert, those are great gift ideas.

An MP3 Player. I have one that's called a ZVUE, it's pretty cool. It can store MP3's, pictures, and movies too! Basically what an Ipod Video can do for a whole lot less. About $100.00.

I suggest that if you had a decent sum of money to work with...get her tickets to her fav. band and maybe even a backstage pass? Would cost alot but she will never forget it.
