It all depends on the color of the pants and shoes. If your wearing dark denim, then you shouldn't wear light shoes anyways, but I would suggest a darker sock such as black, chocolate brown, or forest green. If you're wearing boots that are above the ankle, than you don't have to worry about your socks showing too much. Sometimes it's cute to wear argyle socks with boots.

The general rule is that socks should match the pants. Of course, an exact color match isn't necessary. However, the socks should be a darker shade than the pants. White socks with jeans seems OK if you're being casual. The rules are not the same for men and women. For example: Women often don't wear socks.

Hi Pizzaboy, With running shoe wear white socks.With boots who cares, no one is going to see them away. Now can i have my pizza..LOL.

it depends of your running shoes is black then wear black. if white then white. with boots, always wear black.
