Which is best..Xbox360 or PC for gaming?

The xbox 360 is a highly advanced gaming console.The pc has a wide selection of games but to run the latest games you must also have the mind boggling hardware configurations.Moreover it is much easier to control a game on the xbox rather than on a pc.There are no insallation problems also on an xbox.A game taht has been designed to run on an xbox will run smoothly by just the insertion of the disc.On the other hand thae same game might require 5 installation cds which must be installed on the pc before the game can run.I was impressed by the Graphics system of the xbox 360.The game that will give you sizzling performance on the xbox might not give you the same on a pc.Take the example of halo2.So i think that the xbox 360 is better gor pc gamingthan the pc.

I'd say PC because of the selection of games and the ability to uprade anytime you wish. Just make sure you have plenty of RAM, good processor, good graphics card.

As for the 360, even though game developers and producers know what the 360 can and can't handle, you can't upgrade it as easily as the PC. Also the games usually are a little more expensive i.e $49.99 vs. $59.99. And if you want a faster system, you have to wait for a new generation console to come out and the then buy a whole new one.

1. You can upgrade any component of the PC to match the performance needs of your game.
2. You can download patches for buggy games that are rushed out to ship because of marketing decisions.
3. There are lots more games that you can play on a PC instead of xbox.
4. If you like to play strategy games or games that require alot of shortcut keys for different functions, the PC has more keys

Why xbox 360 or other gaming console is better than PC:
1. Game makers know exactly what type of hardware is being used so they can tailor games to run optimally on that specific machine. Designing a game for PC, they have to worry about conflicts with everyone' different video/audio configurations. etc. There will be fewer installation problems and even though a PC system may have better "Stats" than the console, it may run slower.
2. If you just want to play games, a PC costs much more.
3. If you play alot of action games that mindlessly pound a few buttons. The console is designed for that.

depends on the game..

Some are easier to control on one vs the other.

I have Blazing Angels on both but found 360 easier to control all the movements on it.

I have kong on both but both are at the same spot in the game now.

I have Rainbow Six Las Vegas on 360 but i might download the PC version when it comes out in case i ever have to pawn my 360.
