You should have been thawing the turkey in a tinfoil pan in the fridge for a few days already. however, if it isn't all the way thawed or you forget to get it out. You can place the turkey, in wrapper, in the sink full of cold water and then change the water every half hour, until the turkey is thawed. Don't take it out of the wrapper, if you do, it should be fine, you will just have to thoroughly wash everything in your kitchen to make sure their is no cross contamination and everyone doesn't get sick.

the main suitable way i've got got here across to thaw a turkey is to place it in a huge pot and stick it in a bathtub bath. Fill the pot with chilly water and then bypass away the faucet dripping so the water keeps to be a minimum of quite in action. it in many circumstances would not take greater beneficial than 10-12 hours to thaw even the biggest birds that way.

It will be OK. But, next time, put it in the refrig and let it thaw slowly, for about 3 days...........much easier and cleaner.

just make sure you rinse it really well before cooking it since salmonella is in poultry...scour your sink too...
Fridge thawing is best - in the wrapper but takes longer...

You should have left it in the rapper, because it gets dry when you cook it, when not in the rapper. But it should be okay.
