width is more important! It can be 8 inches long but if its a stick, you wont be able to feel much. I heard somewhere that only the first 3-4 inches or so of a womans "area" is sensitive. So according to that, if you had 4 inches and it was wide enough you should be fine. If its too long it jsut kinda pokes your stomach which isnt that great in my opinon. But whats most important, is that they know how to use it
