I am happily involved with my girlfriend of 15 mos. . No one has ever loved me like she does.so then why the dreams of my ex so many years later.I sometimes dream of her up to 3 times a week.

maybe you didn't have closure with the ex. I know that's the reason my ex still haunts me after 5 years. fortunately i've got the greatest gf in the world, and i can talk to her about this. I LOVE NIKI!!!

It's a normal thing. Maybe you still care for her in a small way. I still dream about my ex and we broke up over 5 years ago. I dont think people ever stop caring at least a small bit for people they have dated, but by no means does it mean you want to be with them again.
