I don't have too many friends in the area and my siblings live far away. I'm not sure what to do Saturday night, but would like to celebrate in some way. Any suggestions?

Why not round up the friends you have and go out? Hit up some bars, shoot some pool, dance the night away. You're still young, man.

SUGGESTIONS FOR AN UNPLANNED BIRTHDAY!:
Go out to dinner.
Visit a nursing home.
Call each of your siblings.
Go to Saturday evening Mass *even if you are not Catholic*
Tell someone you love them
Tell a second person that you love & care for them.
Take children out to Chucky Cheese
Fly a kite.
Go to the symphany.
Take a two mile walk.
Sing & dance while turning your CD up as loud as possible.
Ask someone you care about out for coffee.
Think of thirty things for which you are thankful.
Cook dinner for three people & invite them to your house.
Look up at the sky for fifteen minutes & just watch/observe.
Go to see the new James Bond movie with a good friend: you pay
Stand on your head OR at least make the try.
Do thirty push-ups.
Write to thirty people on how much they mean to you.
Sleep in an extra thirty minutes.
THINK UP THIRTY THINGS TO DO............. AND DO AT LEAST FIVE OF THEM.

Mine's coming up too, but I'm actually trying to forget it. I'm not really big on "Birthday celebrations", but it's always fun to have a small gathering and either hang out at home or go out somewhere. Even if it's only one or two people you aren't even that close to, you could still hang out and have fun. You could get to know them better or go out and meet new people. In any case, try to relax and have fun.

Are there any live music options where you live? If all else fails, hit the local strip club. Happy b-day, 30 is just the beginning.

well happy b'day on Saturday.... mine is saturday too. I'll be 32 ughhhh.... lol well I've gotta work 7a-7p on saturday so I'm gonna come home, eat supper, spend a little bit with my hubby and kid, then go to bed cause I gotta work again on Sunday..... good luck finding something to do :o)

invite one or all of the friends over for pizza;movies and of course the birthday cake.or go out and treat yourself to dinner and movie. go shop for new out fit ,hit a club for dancing and meeting new friends. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!!!!!!!
