boredom is only a frame of mind. when I get bored, (which never happens), I would write down a list of things that I could complete by the end of the day. I check them off so that I feel accomplished after each one is done. If all of my to do list is checked off, I would find things that I could read, learn, or up-date and to improve myself.
If I have improved and there is nothing else that I could do to better myself, I would travel and meet people and compare my life with their life and see what I can learn or better my life by knowing things about their life.
If I have been all over the world, every village, every continent, every nook and cranny, I would spend more time with family and friends and just kick back and enjoy life, make a garden, plant flowers, and watch them grow. I would volunteer in my community to make it better. I would fix up the house that I should have by then, and go shopping and hang out with my kids or grand kids, and participate in their school activities and do crafts...
There's so much to do in so little time. NO ONE should be bored in life, for life is just a short glimpse in eternity and if you don't use the opportunity to live it up, you will lost it fast. Before you know it, you'd be too old to do anything and that's BORING. But even then you can dream of doing, being, and living...be creative and live life the way you want it to run its course...

I heard once that only boring people get bored...
I guess I must be boring - at least sometimes anyway.
I bought myself a keyboard and am teaching myself to play. When I get bored, I turn it on and treat myself to doing something I have always wanted to learn to do!
I love to read stories to kids at preschools or the library too. They get so excited and animated when you read to them. I change the voices and read suspenseful (but not too scary) stuff. They give hugs and stuff when it is over and always want more.
Sometimes I go to an aquarium or watch forensic stuff on TV

I take my netball up to the netball count and throw some goals
or i study my Bible Sometime if i am in the mood i will write a poem, Or maybe i will go for a bike ride all just go for a walk

Any number of things , crafts , watch TV , read a book , scrub the kitchen floor .
