it does, but only if you leave it for a long time. If happen just clean it up and wash with soap and nothing will happen. Don't go crazy. You still have time to drink a coffee, or make a phone call or change a tire

brake fluid has solvent effect that affect certain type of paint, when accidentally spilled on car paint it will take time before the paint affected, so it is better to wash your car with water and soap immediately specially the affected area and if show some discoloration apply wax or buff the affected surface with cotton cloth

Oh yes. Brake fluid is the one thing that will get permanent marker off white-boards. It is a really good solvent.

ANY good model / hobby shop !! I use Testors paint and cement, they have an excellent series of auto-paints. Tools you should have: an Xacto knife with #11 blade, parts "nipper", tweezers / forceps, emery boards or foam-nail-files

Yes. It will quickly destroy the shine, and if not wiped off it will soften the paint. Be careful not to spill!
