Not all of us feel we must live by Martha's standards. The stove top is pretty good stuff. Yes, it is just food. The whole idea is to be thankful for what you have, not dwell on what you don't. Relax and enjoy the day with your sweetie. That's something to be thankful for. Like our troops in Iraq. Im sure the wouldn't care what kind of stuffing their wives/husbands/moms, cooked, as long as they were home to eat with them. Happy Thanksgiving!

Your going for no fuss right??? Then why stress about it. If your husband is really concerned about it (he probably isn't) let him mix it up while you are preparing everything else. Stove top stuffing should be fine. What's really important is that your spending time with your hubby!

Yes it's totallly fine! If you want to make it just a tad fancy, then throw in some dried cranberries or some raisins, and maybe some pecans or walnuts. Yum.

To BUGSIE below me, I certainly hope you don't take any moment of any day to decide on what shirt to wear, what movie to watch, or what flavor of yogurt to buy, because then you would be a hypocrite, wouldn't you?

Yep, it's just stuffing. More important that you and your dear hubby get to enjoy your time together. Think of it as taking the stuffing-making time and transferring it to couple-time. No guilt!
