How do you feel about millions of turkeys being killed for a tradition? Why is it even a tradition? Pilgrims didn't eat it. Pilgrims did eat special meat on this day, but they didn't eat it often, you know why? Because they realized they needed to save it if they wanted the animal race to live. Sure, they ate fish, but only because they needed to. Personally, I usually think eating meat is okay (as long as it's not from a factory farm), but millions of turkeys killed for one day...

These turkeys are bred and raised specifically for this day. It's not like we are wiping out an endagered species. If anything Thanksgiving is the reason that all of these Turkeys are alive in the first place. They are fulfilling their destiny. Think of it that way.

i eat turkey all year round and yes on turkey day. I think its fine love it and whats the big deal

Ya, that is sad. But we also kill cows and pigs and eat them. BUT
I was having to clean out the turkey tonight, I dreaded it...I even
used plastic gloves..ugh. I told myself tonight...I am NEVER going
to do this again......it is to gross. Plus, I hate cooking anyway. lol
