I am 14 days late for my period not usually late.Went and took a urine test came back negative.I have ovarian cyst is it true this can effect the test.I am going to retake a test if nothing by next week or go for a blood test but just wondering if the cyst can have an effect on a urine test.Thanks

Home test generally are not accurte during the first 3-5 weeks of a pregnancy. And even then it is best to have the result confirmed by a doctor. The cyst can make you late, so if you haven't started in another week or so, go see the doctor. Have him run a pregnancy test, and an ultra-sound to see if the cyst is larger than before.

Ovarian cyst might make you late but do not think it would affect the pregnancy test, however those home tests are not reliable

GET ON THE PILL and take the guess work out of it. And yes, a large cyst could block you
