Sweetie, you go put those flowers in a vase.Put them in the bathroom (very near the loo).Have a laugh that he is still spending his money on you and feel blessed its over.You don't need a man that has no respect for you. Who would?
If he rings to ask if you got his flowers, say ,I put them in a vase in a place that always reminds me of you. That way you get to have a sweet,pretty bathroom and no way can he b*tch back at you about it. Also anyone new on the scene,(and there will be) has no reason to get upset if they see them and find out where they came .

People can change, and he could be trying to reach out to you. If he didn't treat you with respect before, he could be trying to show you that he knows he was wrong. Do you have any desire to be with him again? If you don't want to be with him ever again, tell him. If you think things could work out again, tell him that he has to respect you and he won't get another second chance.

how badly were you treated? depending on how bad it was this could be his way of makeing it up to u. the fact that he thought enough of you to send u the flowers says he was thinking of you and misses you

It is damm hard to leave the one you love. My ex took me for appox. 1/2 million dollars, put me in bankrupt, and almost killed me in our kitchen. But after 16 years, I was able to find a wonderful man who treats me so well. I love him. Oddly I found him in my church. Something about the Univeralist/Unitaian Church in Riverside that almost cosmic.Hang in there guy..

Don't fall for it. If he treated you badly enough for you to leave him there's no reason to believe things would be any different. I had one that used to get drunk, beat on me and give me black eyes. I kept falling for the crying, apologies, promises and gifts. But after awhile the same things would happen again. Don't waste your time on someone who's going to treat you like crap.

Why did you feel the need to clarify that you're gay? This problem could easily exist in any relationship.
