because money = time, and the more money you have the more time you'll have to yourself to do the things you want to do

The people that associate money and happiness probably don't even know what real happiness is. A big fancy house, diamond, cars, material things you can buy can never take the place of waking up and just being happy that you have the chance to live this day and be happy with what you have. If you were rich, would you really be happy and just try to buy things that make you happy.

People associate money and happiness because when you have money you get to do things like buy food, clothes, shoes, go on vacation and stuff like that. Think about it.

Money problems cause stress, fear, anxiety.
Lack of money can mean not enough food or clothing or heat or gasoline...
People think that when they can spend what they want, when they want that they have chioces and everybody loves to have choices - what to drive, where to eat, where to take vacation or whose label to wear.
Moeny does not BUY happiness but no money can't buy anything!

people are born stupid and then struggle with education however upsidedown values are not well acknowledged by schools and most likely endorsed . for instance some one once asked me if your so smart how come you are not rich? is that a loaded question of disputable character or what?
