I had 2 c-sections. my son was breech and to big to come out vaginally anyway. my daughter, i guess i opted for it cause i didnt know i could have a vaginal after a c-sec. I was wondering if u can still have a vaginal after u had 2 c-sec's? Has anyone done this? I am fine with having another c-sec, but i was kinda wanting to try it normal. It does scare the crap out of me though, like a first time mom

There should be no reason why you can't have a VBAC if that is want you want, providing you can find a physician and hospital who are willing. I've helped women who have had up to 3 cesareans have a vaginal birth. A study just published this year found it is just as safe to have a VBAC after multiple C/S as it is after only one. (In fact, it is only one of 15 studies published so far this year which find significant risks to both mother and baby from C/S, and safety of vaginal birth over C/S.) The risks of cesarean to you and future pregnancies increases with each surgery. I strongly suggest doing some serious reading on the topic. A cesarean is NOT just another method of having a baby. It is major surgery that has serious risks to both mother AND baby, including a higher risk of death.

As long as your doctor examines you and says it's okay, then they will let you try. But because you have never delivered vaginally before, they will most likely get a surgical team standing by, in case of complications. That is what my doctor told me would happen with my next pregnancy. I had a c-section in February, and my dr. told me that it healed very well and I would be an 'excellent candidate for a V-BAC'. My son was breech, too, and face up. Boys!

You can. It will be tricky to find an ob and a hospital that will be willing to let you try it, though. You could ask for a "trial of labor". If you spontaneously go into labor, they will let you try. Chances are, your ob will not induce.
