You have to be defensive and aware at all times, with the understanding that it's not good enough to drive well yourself - you have to watch out for the other guy. I vehemently disagree with "number 2" in the reply directly above and I'm telling you the opposite.

Don't allow people to follow you too closely and always look both ways in an intersection even when you have the green light.

I've been driving for over 40 years.

This venture gets my blood boiling cuz there are soooo many stuff approximately drivers that difficulty me. i'm going to assert: while i'm interior the main astounding lane and going extremely over the shrink and a automobile at the back of me positive aspects rapidly and is going to pass me yet gets precise beside me or only in my blind spot and RIDES there for miles! fairly as quickly as I ought to disengage my cruise administration cuz of him! He were traveling 15mph speedier than me until he had very almost executed the deed!

1. Don't follow too close.

2. Manage you time so that you don't have to speed all the time.

3. Learn how to merge without expecting others to get out of your way.

4. Never expect anyone to get out of your way. Go around them if you don't like their speed.

5. Remember that people make mistakes sometimes, and you will to. Don't be too quick to get all excited and start yelling profanities.

OOPS, that's more than 3.

1) You Must Remain Calm
2) Don't worry about other drivers, just focus on your driving
3) Have Fun. Driving always calms me down whenever I'm having a rough day. It helps listening to the radio.

Keep your eyes on the road, no distractions( such as radio and cell), stay 2 car lengths behind.
