I often have muplitple tabs open. This Transferring data files etc takes for ever to load the page, especially when clicking on a link.
Q/ Why does Firefox need to "transfer data...
Q/ What is Read Cache: .... and Read pluginx... and all the others that are there when loading new page.
Do I need to re-configure or xhange the HTTP. It might also have something to do with my Dialup connection a,s the Status page Activity is very slow. Sent Bytes are lets say 658,052 and the Receiver Bytes are 4,700.885 and the Connection Speed is 46.6 Kbps.. Really hope that someone can help. THANKS!!

The "transfer data..." could also means it's downloading stuff. Some sites never seem to complete this though. For example, www.youtube.com ...if you watch any video, it will usually have that message.

Nothing to worry about though. It's normal, and happens all the time. It's when something you want to load that doesn't, is when you should start worrying.
