3-4 times after i had intercurse , i used to take oral pills. i never knew that we have to take those pills regularly the whole month -- whether or not we have sex.. The same month i got pregnant and have delivered a baby girl . My question is that whether those pills have any affect on my baby.

I don't think you're old enough to have those pills! Give them back. If you can't read the directions on the label, you certainly should not have them, and you shouldn't be having sex!

Wow, that's really, really dumb. What did you think you were taking, the morning-after pill? This question is probably a joke, but just in case it isn't...

You should explain this to your doctor and get a different kind of birth control because you don't need any more kids right now.

And no, the pill most likely will not have any effect on your baby. Many babies are born while the mother was on birth control.

My son was (apparently, my body does not respond well to the pill. I went through 5 different brands before I got pregnant and my doctor decided maybe we should try something else. I have endometriosis, so the pregnancy was an incredible shock- my dr's told me I would probably never become pregnant without fertility treatments), and I had a teacher with three kids, all of which were conveived while she was on the pill.

The pill you were supposed to take is called " Morning after" pill. Not the regular ones for complete suppression of the cycle. The chance of those occasional pills doing any significant damage to your child are remote. Better avoid such silly mistakes hereafter.Always take the advice of your family physician or a Gynaecologist.

Is this a real question???? She has already been born, and you are asking if she is ok? Hon, she would have been checked over completely at birth. As for any mental retardation, you may not know about that until she is older. I bet she is ok, or you would know by now.
