You can start up a conversation with him, become his friend and see if it leads anywhere. Nothing wrong with gaining a friend if he has no other interest in you. You may not like him other than friends as you get to know him. Nothing wrong with that.

I think you should go ask him if he like you. And if he does ya should be friends more and then go for more. I think so many people are scared to ask someone if they like them cuz they are afraid of rejection but if he doesnt like you oh well just move on if yuor buetiful you will be able to pick up anyone.
