i love that book!!!!!!!!!!!!!! have you read Eldest? it is so good. i cant wait until the third one comes out.

It's a good book. The author didn't do anything remarkably new with fantasy conventions. It closely follows the heroic quest model for storytelling, so there's nothing really innovative about the story.
Even so, I was surprised by how much I cared about the characters. It's a solidly written story. I personally prefer "Eldest" because it's a far more unique story than Eragon. Paolini creates two storylines and builds toward weaving them together very well. In "Eldest," he finally succeeds in making his own unique contribution to the fantasy genre.

It is a great book. If you liked Eragon, try:
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
Uglies by Scott Westerfeld (and the rest of the triology)
A Great And Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray
Eragon is awesome though. i can't wait to see the movie!
