I like 24 and prison break, also lost to some extent, love smallville the most.
But I haven´t been able to find a new great sci fi good show. I´m curious about heroes but haven´t seen it.
Anyone has some suggestions? If you can mention series that already have one or more seasons on DVD that´d be great.

I would highly recommend Jericho. Its a great show. And as other people have said, Hero's is definitely worth watching. Its really surprised me.

I love all the shows you have listed and some of my other favorites are CSI:NY and Numb3rs- these are both amazing. Also, Criminal Minds is good, but I'm not sure I would buy the DVDs. Heroes is good, but it has already started so you would definitely have to download the episodes to really get into it, and 3 lbs, which has only had two episodes so far this season is really good *the pilot's free on itunes*!

supernatural is a great show(the first season is out on DVD and the 2nd is playing right now).... i think you'll like it because i am in love with smallville and lost too....also you could start watching that new show called heroes that is good also i am just starting to get into that on the new website which has like every show on it you should check it out!!!!

Heroes rules. I'm really enjoying it. I was skeptical at first because it's sci-fi on mainstream television, but I'm hooked.
Ever seen Firefly? Watch it. You'll love every moment of it.
And of course, Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis.
But avoid Battlestar Galactica. That show takes itself way too seriously.

"3 lbs" is an awesome new series, my favorite of the new ones for this year. It's kind of an ER-type of series about brain surgeons. Stanley Tucci is awesome on this show.

My current populars are: Cold Case, Grey's Anatomy, ER, All the CSIs, Desperate Housewives, & Criminal Minds. I got tired of all the Law & Orders cause I got tired of all the replacements. That's about it for me;)

NUMB3RS is sooo good. Trust me, if you like that genre.....
it's on Friday nights at 10 PM and it can be very addictive.
