Type in *#06# it'll automatically display the serial number.This works with most of the phones or another way is lookout beneath the battery.

You can look under the battery on the sticker with all the bar codes. Most phones have an ESN in both decimal (digits 0-9) and hexadecimal format (digits 0-9 and A-F). The decimal format is 11 digits long.

GSM phones have IMEI numbers. These are 15 digits long (all numbers 0-9) and usually start with a 01 or 35. The first 6 digits give the model number of the phone. This is the number that comes up on the screen when you press *#06#
