In California, sellers are to notify buyers if a death has occured on the property within the last 3 years. Texas law does not, however, require disclosure of all deaths that have occurred in the house for sale.

So, it depends on where you live...where do you live?

You can investigate via internet, local newspaper, and or make a friend in the new neighborhood. You will always find a nosey neighbor dying to tell the story...

when you purchased the house, didnt you ask abt the past history? if you did and the mis-led you then you can sue the real estate agent....
