In California, sellers are to notify buyers if a death has occured on the property within the last 3 years. Texas law does not, however, require disclosure of all deaths that have occurred in the house for sale.

You can investigate via internet, local newspaper, and or make a friend in the new neighborhood. You will always find a nosey neighbor dying to tell the story...

I would start with local records, city or county records, library, newspaper. Ask neighbors, if they have been there a while.
