You should use 8.5 inches by 11 inches letter size paper for your resume.
You should think about getting the better quality paper that is made for resumes. It is about 20 cents a sheet but it looks and feels much nicer.

Use what is the standard size paper for your country. For instance, if you are in Europe, most countries use the A4 size paper.
Here in the U.S. you want to use 8-1/2 x 11 inch paper. Do NOT use a different size than what is standard. Because for the HR person, it will only cause annoyance when they try to file the paper if it's too small or too big.
But you should also make sure you are using a good quality bond paper, but stay on a nice white bond paper. Don't use any cute graphics on the paper either. Sometimes the company will scan the resumes into a scanner and the graphics could create problems for the scanner.

You would have to use an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet or you will never get the job.

A bit of paper that is slightly better quality than the normal printer paper. It leaves a better impression with the HR person. Also use standard size paper.

It's very important that your resume isn't thrown out before it's read.
One Page, one page, one page, I don't know how many people submit 2 or 3 pages....means trash to 99% of employers.
Always 8.5 x 11
No funky colors, shades of white.
good quality, preferable with a water mark.
no spelling errors
no stains
no folds unless you are mailing it. Tip. send it FedEx in a flat package so it won't be folded and it will stand out.
never put references on a resume always on a separate paper and only if requested.

Standard 8 1/2 x 11. Anything else annoys the hell out of people and they'll just chuck it, unless you're applying for some artistic, creative job.
