also if i sit in a chair with my knee bent at a 90 degree it hurts when i stand up but much less. pain comes from the keecap area. I injured this knee running a year and a half ago and i never went to a doctor and it has healed mostly.

Nothing is wrong, try sitting in a chair, orthopedic injuries often take a very long time to heal and you are not helping by putting stress on an injured area

~~~I would Ice and heat Ice and heat for at least three or four days ,,,if it doesnt get any better then I would go to the Dr....try Ice for about 15 min,,,then a heating pad for about 15 min,,,do this 3 times a day,,,,,,the Ice will help with any swelling,,,,,and the heat will loosen any tightness,,,,Try going to webMD. thats a great website to help with any medical questions,,,,

most likely your body is not used to bending like that so it's going 2 hurt try streching first...or u broke it and never treaded it go get x-rayed to know for sure
